Difonix Roll20: Falcon's Hollow
Human male with tanned skin, fairly rough looking with teeth that are blackened
Roblique (aka Farmer Bob) was the son of a furniture fabricator in a large town in Andoran. A young lad, about eight years old, he began to journey with his father to Falcon’s Hollow to inspect the premium lumber being sold there that his father was now in charge of buying for his craft guild. It was on these trips that he learned that Avistan is a big place full of wondrous things. What captured his attention the most was the metal people of Numeria and the chunks of star metal that were worth a fortune. One old logger told the tale of the chunk of star metal he found in the roots of a tree knocked down by strong winds. He hinted there was lots more out there if you could just dig enough and find it. From that time on, Roblique would always run out into the surrounding area of Falcon’s Hollow with a shovel in hand, digging holes looking for star metal. Around 14 Roblique had become a fairly accomplished hunter with the bow and was now traveling with Father to the various lumber camps to select still standing trees for harvest and milling. On one of these trips Roblique, his father and attending workers were ambushed by brigands. He was captured and held in the brigand camp for a summer, allowed to tend the garden and other mundane labour tasks. One day he found a piece of star metal, or what he thought was star metal. He hid it from the brigands by putting it in his mouth. He began to chew on it. A lot. In fact he had found some galena, the square shaped crystals having a nice sheen like star metal. Galena is a lead based mineral. Lead in the blood is not a good thing. Roblique started to go a little batty. His ransom was never paid and he never knew what became of his father or family back in town. He eventually escaped, shovel in hand, and became a “forest person”, wandering the woods as a teenager digging holes and looking for star metal, chewing on the few pieces he did find. He became very adept at shooting intruders from trees with a stolen bow. He found this was a fine way to earn some coin and survive in a werewolf/kobold infested forest. Locals referred to him as “Farmer Bob”, the nut job that grows star metal.
